What do I need to know about scheduling a boudoir session?
Contact Susie to make an appointment. Depending on which session you choose you will need to plan three to four hours for your shoot. The session fee is due at the time the appointment is made and is non refundable. This is because both the photographer and the makeup artist are holding this date and time especially for you and are not able to book other appointments. We are understanding and can move the shoot date and time if you have something come up. We do ask that you give us as much notice as possible. After your shoot your pictures will be ready for you to view in about two weeks. We will set up an appointment for you to come back and preview your images. During the preview session you will be able to see the edited images just how they will be printed. You will be able to choose which images you like and which products you want to purchase. Payment for the products you choose is due at the time of ordering. Some products like albums take time to design. An album proof will emailed to you in a few days after your preview session for you to approve. Once it looks exactly how you would like the album order is sent to a professional binder and can take about two weeks to complete.

How should I plan for my photo shoot?
Pick out several outfits and try them on in front of the mirror so you can get an idea what you want to be photographed in. Bring all of your outfits and we will pick a couple to use. Please cut the tags off of all clothing. We don’t want them showing in your pictures. Before your shoot shave and make sure your nails look nice (don’t forget your toes). Come with clean dry hair and just moisturizer on your face. Relax, and prepare to have a lot of fun. When should I do my session?
If you are doing a session as a special gift for an event such as a wedding or anniversary you will want to do your session several weeks advance. Albums, especially, take time to complete since they are custom made for you. If you have any questions about the turnaround time on any of our products please ask us. We can schedule appointments in the day, evenings, and even Saturday for your convenience.

Where will the photo shoot take place?
We can do it at our place or yours. We have a private studio in West Jordan, Utah with bedroom type setups. We can also shoot at a hotel. You will be responsible for booking the room and there will be a $20 setup fee for us to bring our lights and equipment. We will travel to Salt Lake and Utah counties with no travel fees.

How revealing do I have to be?
These are your pictures. You are in charge! We usually use a variety of poses and clothing including sexy headshots that are appropriate for his desk at work and intimate poses that are for his eyes only. Although we do not do nude photography we can do “implied nude” images if you would like. These are tasteful images where you aren’t wearing clothing but will be strategically covered. I am not at my ideal weight, should I wait?
All of us would like to change something about our appearance. However, with creative lighting, clothing choices and a subtle amount of touchups you will look your absolute best. What forms of payment do you take?
I take checks or cash (of course). I can also take credit cards via Paypal. Paypal is a great option since it is very secure. There is no sharing of your credit card number or account information.
